We need your help!

Just Us Cat and Kitten Rescue, a 501 C3, was formed in 2006, its mission to serve eastern Sussex communities in managing cats and kitten communities, both domestic and feral.    Just Us is an all-volunteer organization that serves by performing a variety of functions: rescue, foster, trap, spay/neuter and return.  Volunteers also socialize and feed feral colonies. Food, Vet visits if needed and kitten formula too, are provided to foster caregivers.  And of course Just Us will try to find a home for every adoptable cat or kitten.  

Key to the work of Just Us is an alliance with the Brandywine SPCA, local pet stores and a large no kill shelter in Maryland that takes adoptable cats and kittens.  Just Us also works with many other 501 C3 rescue groups in Sussex County, after all, our feline friends don’t know about geographic boundaries.

To date, in this calendar year, Just Us has arranged for 371 spays/neuters, many of these were at no cost to the pet owner, colony caregiver and always at no cost to the foster family.  And this year Just Us paid for 50 free spay/neuters for those whose jobs were lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  As a 501 C3 non-profit rescue group we rely solely on donations of all kinds, but right now we are in need of monetary donations.  We have been unable to conduct our monthly low cost cat and dog shot clinics and cannot hold our annual fundraiser, a mainstay of our fundraising activities for the past 8 years.  So we need your help, our feline friends need your help.
